Pereybere
In the north of the island​, nestled in an idyllic bay with its own beautiful white sandy beach, the small coastal village of Pereybere is only a couple of kms away from the famous and very touristic Grand Bay.
Here you will find numerous little shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars that cater to all one’s tastes and requirements.
If you want to discover the island, this is a very good place to start from! Not only is the bus stop just a 5 minute walk from your Villa but you could also visit some of the most popular beaches, including both Grand Bay and Pereybere just by walking there in around 10 minutes.

​You can watch the fishermen in the morning going out with their little wooden boats, swim in the beautiful blue waters, go take a look at the marine life in a glass bottom boat, do some water sports or just relax and have a cocktail while watching the sunset!
Those interested in diving would like to know that Pereybere is the divers meeting point in the north, from where they go to explore the three shipwrecks, the 'Silver Star', 'Amar' and 'Star Hope' (all in 22-40m depth), with all their wealth of colorful fish, coral, etc.
